Curse of the Uluru
Ayers Rock in Australia is said to be under a potent and powerful aboriginal curse, known as the curse of the Uluru. A Canberra man named Steve Hill didn't believe in the curse and during a tourist visit took a particular rock that caught his eye to add to his collection. Thus began the curse of Uluru. On his way back home through Queensland, furious kangaroos began hurling themselves at his vehicle causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. A shaken Hill commented, "I've driven extensively through the outback and never seen such behavior from kangaroos. It was at that point I started to think maybe I shouldn’t have taken the rock and that maybe I’d fallen victim to the curse." However, Steve's ill fortune had only just begun.
