Book Review: Angelic Trance Magick by Ben Woodcroft

 Ben Woodcroft is an author associated with The Power of Magick who many people, including myself to begin with, confuse as being a member of the Gallery of Magick. Ben Woodcroft isn't a member of GoM but his books on practical angelic magick are highly appealing to Gallery fans.


Ben has written four books: Angelic Sigils, Keys and Calls: 142 Ways to Make Instant Contact with Angels and Archangels (The Power of Magick)

Angelic Protection Magick (which I did a partial review of at the end of this post)

The Angel Overlords: Magickal Energy States for Manifestation

and my personal favorite Angelic Trance Magick.


This book deals with the famous angels of the seventy-two letter name of God derived from Exodus in the Bible. I won't go into the history of these angels since it is easily found and irrelevant to reviewing this book.


This book reveals one of the simplest yet most powerful techniques I have experienced. If you are unable to go into a trance state, don't worry, the trance needed for this magick is incredibly simple and easy to get into. Without giving it all away it involves a simple movement of the eyes while looking at a sigil.


Despite being one of the easiest methods available, this magick creates profound results. I have solved so many problems with this book, calmed anxiety, increased love, found a new apartment, got noisy neighbor's to quiet down, solved a medical problem that turned out to be a misdiagnosis (this one is especially amazing because I did it after the diagnosis and then was re-diagnosed with a far less scary ailment. Did it change the past?)


There isn't much else to say about this book. The bottom line is: This magick is easy, but this magick works and it works great. I highly recommend all of Ben Woodcroft's books (all the Power of Magick books actually) but this one is my definite favorite although I use Angelic Protection daily.

Experimental Sigils: Retroactive Magick to Change the Past

  Welcome to another edition of experimental magick. These are some sigils designed with the intent of changing the past and shifting realities. This is totally new and experimental magick, I have no clue whether these will work or what sort of effects they may have. Use with caution! These sigils were derived by me using planetary squares. Experimental Sigils to Lucid Dream, Astral Project, and Silence the Mind

 This another post of experimental magick. These are some sigils I created a while back. They have worked for me but I want to test them out for other people. So please give these a try! Using these sigils is simple and easy. You activate them the same way you would any other sigil, whether a demonic spirit or an Austin Spare chaos magick sigil. Focus on the artwork in the center of the sigil. Soften your gaze so that the sigil begins to get blurry with parts fading in and out. This is the trance state. In this trance state, imagine that you already have what you desire. Feel strongly the emotion you would feel if you had it. Focus on this for a while, generating strong emotions. Your emotions empower this magick.  Try to focus on your desire for at least seventy-two seconds.
